Open Home Ready was born out of a passion for home renovation and remodelling work, and a frustration with the high costs and stress associated with getting a house ready for sale.
Our founder's journey began early and has spent nearly two decades within the building and construction industry, continuously gaining a wealth of experience in repairing and repainting homes. He also has substantial experience in home maintenance, gained through his years spent working on insurance work and various contracts within the social housing industry.
Years of experience in the industry allowed us to develop solid relationships with real estate agents, who often required work to be carried out to get their clients' homes ready for sale. It quickly became apparent how stressful and expensive it was for homeowners to prepare their homes ready for market. We also recognized that homeowners sell their properties for various reasons, and for some its extremely difficult to pay for the upfront costs associated with preparing their homes for sale.
We have come up with a brilliant solution to this problem. Helping homeowners achieve the best possible price for their property without the added stress or upfront costs.

Open Home Ready is a unique business with an innovative strategy that caters to homeowners who are selling their property and want the best outcome for your sale.
Unlike traditional renovation contractors, our mission is not to take an old property and remodel it into something new for the owner's enjoyment for years to come. Instead, we are here to repair, clean, and rejuvenate your home so that it will optimize buyer's interest in the property and give you a more profitable sales price and a faster, selling process.
When it comes to selling your home, the common question is "what should I do and what should I not do?" That's why we have a risk vs reward policy that insures there are not unnessessary renovations undertaken, only activities that will increase the home's sales price. It's crucial to have a close working relationship between Open Home Ready, the Real Estate Agent, and the homeowner.
We work as a team with yourself and your real estate agent who knows the market. Our skilled trades and your knowledge of your unique property.

HOW IT WORKS
We do the hard work for you and help with the transition from renovation to sale. Follow these easy steps to a successful property transaction.
FUNDS AND BUDGETING
Open Home Ready works within a budget of approximately 5% of the sales price. We manage our costs from the 10% deposit, ensuring that we don't exceed the balance remaining after the deduction of the agent's commission and advertising expenses.
This usually allows the owner to have around 5% of the sales price available for dealing with associated costs
HERE IS THE MAGIC
ACCEPTING QUOTE & SCHEDULING
After accepting the quote and completing all necessary paperwork, we coordinate with you and your agent to schedule the work within a reasonable timeframe before the photos. Typically, we allocate a 4-week period for the work to commence and be completed in time for the photoshoot.
LISTING & PAYMENT TERMS
Upon completion of the work, your 100-day period begins before payment is due. This includes a 10-day window for you and your agent to organise photos and marketing, and a 90-day timeframe for your agent to sell your property before payment is required.
SALE OF PROPERTY & PAYMENT
After your agent secures the best possible sales price and receives the 10% deposit, they will transfer the funds to Open Home Ready following the 5-day cooling-off period, thereby completing the contract with Open Home Ready.
